• Wear jewellery that suits the occasion. Giant red hoop earrings may be fun at the neighbourhood pool party, but inappropriate when your hubby brings his conservative boss home for a formal dinner party.

• Choose earrings that flatter your face and your hairstyle. Wear crystal earrings with that little, black dress on Saturday night and then jump into your favourite blue jeans on Sunday morning - crystal earrings still peeking out from your shirt collar.
• You can’t go wrong with bracelets - both wrists. Gold and silver, chains, beads and bangles - the more the merrier!
• Just for fun - buy an anklet and a toe ring. Can’t you just hear Aunt Bea! She’ll be sure that you’ve set off for the dark side.
• Jewellery doesn’t have to cost a fortune. Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend - but - there are so many styles and price points to choose from. Find a few designers whose pieces you adore, and tell friends and family that a piece of their jewellery is always welcome at gift giving time.
• A matched set of necklace, bracelet and earrings is great look for a dinner date.
• Great jewellery announces that you are a woman to be reckoned with.
• Take good care of your jewellery. Keep it in jewellery boxes or bags. Jewellery is “wearable art” and should be treated with respect.
• Above all else - have fun with your jewellery.
